Meerut Child line is an initiative by the Janhit Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Child and Women Welfare and the State Government. They have been carrying out programs for the support of the abandoned and abused children. The toll-free number is 1098 and functions round the clock that caters to abused children, mentally ill, children affected by HIV, destitute and street children.
