Two government hospitals are located in Meerut. These include the Pyare Lal Government Hospital that is located at Modinagar and the Government Hospital at Jani in Meerut. Central Government Health Scheme Meerut
The Central Government Health scheme started in 1954 with the view to extend healthcare facilities to the Central Government employees only and their dependents.
